SEND

At Jewellery Quarter Academy we are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and high-quality educational environment for all our students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We believe that every student has unique talents and the potential to succeed, and we work closely with families, staff, and the local community to ensure each individual achieves their very best.

Our Inclusion Department focuses on fostering a safe, inclusive environment where students feel valued and confident. Through personalised support and high standards of teaching, we empower students to become independent, resilient learners, fully prepared for the transition to adulthood. We emphasise collaboration, actively involving families, specialists, and community partners to provide comprehensive support that meets each student’s needs.

At Jewellery Quarter Academy we are dedicated to nurturing confident, capable individuals who are ready to pursue their goals, fulfil their potential, and make meaningful contributions to society.

Further information regarding the ways in which we support our students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), as well as useful information and resources on how to support young people with SEND in school and at home, is available below. You will also find a link to Birmingham City Council’s Local Offer, which provides help, advice and information about the services available for your child.
